Andrea Guzmán is an urbanist and ecological designer from Mexico City. She specializes in community-centered landscape projects and is the founder of Foresta, an organization dedicated to addressing the impacts of climate change and urbanization in marginalized areas through Miyawaki pocket forests. Andrea co-led the Nezahualcóyotl SUGi Pocket Forest alongside Symbiotica, who traveled from Chile to provide on-site training. She guided the project’s design, implementation, and ecological narrative, helping translate the restoration vision into a culturally grounded and community-driven effort.
