🌍 Sleeping Beauty Webinar | From ideas to implementation
9th November 2026

Join SUGi Founder Elise Van Middelem at the Sleeping Beauty project for an online marketplace webinar on practical Nature-based Solutions (NbS) inspired by the New European Bauhaus (NEB).

How can cities transform overlooked public spaces into beautiful, inclusive and nature-positive places?

Through short pitches and an interactive discussion, cities, practitioners and solution providers will explore ready-to-use and adaptable solutions across four themes:

• Regenerating spaces and biodiversity
• Cooling, water and climate resilience
• Inclusive and beautiful public spaces
• Climate preparedness, community stewardship and long-term care

The webinar will support cities and pilot sites in identifying solutions relevant to their local contexts and moving from inspiration to implementation.

The event is relevant for municipalities, public authorities, urban designers, NbS and NEB solution providers, living labs, researchers, and organisations working on citizen engagement and stewardship.
