BAMU University Forest
Nurturing Nature’s haven for biodiversity and learning.
The aim of this project is to establish a Miyawaki forest at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, creating a vibrant and biodiverse green space on campus.
As the forest grows, it will enhance air quality, mitigate the effects of climate change, and promote biodiversity conservation. It is already serving as an outdoor learning environment, encouraging research, education, and community engagement.
Through this initiative, the university has exemplified its commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and the well-being of its students, faculty, and surrounding community.
“Exciting times ahead! A remarkable forest project is coming to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Campus. It shows our dedication to the environment, biodiversity, and hands-on learning. Grateful to the team behind this green initiative. A symbol of our commitment to a greener future.”
