πΊπΈ Marie Greenwood Forest Planting
11th October 2025
Join us in planting the SUGi Pocket Forest in Denver, Colorado, USA.

This native forest located at Marie L Greenwood Early -8 School in Denver, Colorado is an opportunity to generate an oasis of local indigenous plants.
The sacred circular design, inspired by the wisdom and diligent observations of natural phenomena by Native American tribes who have stewarded this region including the Ute, Apache, Arapahoe, Cheyenne, and Comanche aligns with the sunrise and sunset at the summer solstice.
The traditional reverence for life cycles represented through geometry is intended to guide community into the center to observe, respect, and be transformed by the power of the natural world. As each season moves through a transition the set pathway and gathering center will endure as an anticipation for the warmth and abundance of indigenous plant food and medicine available during the warm embrace of summer.
