🇬🇧 Call for Forests London
Help us find a site for our next SUGi Pocket Forest.
What if your nearest lush green space wasn’t miles away, but right here, tucked between buildings, nestled beside a school, or sitting quietly at the edge of an abandoned lot?
We’re calling on communities, councils, creatives, caretakers — anyone who knows about a forgotten or underused patch of land — to help us find the next place to plant.

Note: sites must adhere to the following requirements to be considered:
Forest site must be either soil or grass, no concrete.
Minimum 1 meter (3 feet) depth of soil.
Decent access for machinery, ideally 3 meters (9 feet) width.
The forest site needs to be at least 3 meters (9 feet) away from any building.
No cables (electricity) under or above the future forest.
No infrastructure, such as water or gas mains, running below the site (If possible, provide us with a technical drawing of the site)
Enough sunlight: exposed to sun for majority of the day.
Access to water: is there water access close to the site?
Maintenance: do you have a team or community member that would be the key person keeping an eye on the site?
