SUGi is a global platform fully dedicated to biodiversity building, ecosystem restoration and reconnecting people to Nature through the creation of ultra-dense, biodiverse forests of native species primarily in urban areas. Role Description:
We are looking for a Content Writer to join our Creative Team to create content for articles, blog post, social media, marketing copy and more. Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication.
Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.
Role Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Creative Director, and in close collaboration with the Impact Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in creating content across our platforms (Web, Blog, IG, LinkedIn and YouTube)
- Writing compelling headlines and body copy to capture the attention of the targeted audience.
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Creating content for project stories, blog page, social media, and other short or long form content.
- Proofreading content for mistakes.
- Editing and optimising existing content to improve readability.
- Ensure all-around consistency of copy, style, and tone of voice.
- Helping ideate for our creative content.
Your Profile:
The ideal candidate for this role possesses a solid portfolio of published articles projects. The candidate is committed to working in a fast-paced, start-up environment and interested in growing as a team. The candidate has the following qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field (preferred)
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, copywriter or similar role.
- Portfolio of published articles.
- Experience doing research using multiple sources.
- Familiarity with web publications.
- Proficient in Keynote, Pages, GDrive, Ppt, Word, Excel and DropBox.
- Fluent in English (required), Spanish and French (optional)
- Ability to work on-site in London in a hybrid setting (ideal)
- This position is a consultancy arrangement for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of moving to employment
